We already have an independent CPA doing our taxes and audit, why do I need a CFO?

The two have very different skill sets.  Our CFOs have at least 20 years of hands-on experience dealing in all operational and strategic aspects of running and growing businesses, from improving cash flows and profitability to creating long-term forecasts and exit strategies.  Outside CPAs focus on audits and taxation, plus they need to remain independent and cannot perform certain functions in your business.  In fact, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act was enacted to ensure their independence after the Enron / Arthur Anderson debacle.

Will you replace my CPA?

Not at all.  Our focus is different since we work on operational and strategic issues of your business.  However, we will gladly work with your CPA to make sure they have all information required for their review, audit, or tax preparation.

What can you help me with?

The expertise of our CFO services is as varied as the issues presented to us by our clients.  We will address everything from strategic and operational objectives such as financial planning, forecasts and exit strategies, to financial oversight, and representation of your business to the outside world.

Where will you be doing your work?

We will do all work at your location.  We are very hands-on in our engagement approach, which is why we will be accessible and on-site.

Do you train our employees?

Yes.  We make sure that we’re with you every step of the way.  To that end, we make sure that your staff are trained on any systems and processes will help achieve defined business objectives.

How much does it cost?

You can expect the expense to be a fraction of the cost of having a full-time CFO on staff.  You can use our CFO Services for as little as a few hours, ongoing weekly basis, for a specific project or anything in-between.

What is a free assessment?

We would like to get to know you better and get an understanding of your business “pains” and potential opportunities.  To perform our assessment we will come to your location and spend some time talking with you and other appropriate personnel. Based on our discovery we can then provide you with a proposal of services.  This services is 100% complementary.

Who owns my data?

You are the owner of your data and documentation, whether paper or electronic..

Is my information kept confidential?
